OOCL, Regional Container Lines to begin three-containership service in March

OOCL and Regional Container Lines are teaming up to start a vessel-sharing service between China and Thailand in March.

The two carriers will jointly operate the service with three containerships with capacities of 1,200 to 1,300 20-foot equivalent units, covering ports in China, Thailand, and Vietnam. OOCL said the new service CBS will supplement its existing China - Ho Chi Minh - Laem Chabang Service, which covers north China, Hong Kong, South China, Thailand and Vietnam.

The service will begin on March 4 with the sailing of the Victoria Trader on the following port rotation: Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Ho Chi Minh, Ningbo, Shanghai, and Laem Chabang.
